Science Applications International Corp. has received a U.S. Navy contract that may be worth as much as $54 million over five years if the Navy exercises all of its options. SAIC said the work will be done primarily in San Diego.
The prime contract is structured as a cost plus fixed fee deal, with a two-year base period and three one-year options.
Under the deal, SAIC will provide the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific with technical and engineering support for maritime intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and information operations. This may be on existing systems or what SAIC called “emerging systems” operated by the Navy or joint forces.
Shares of SAIC trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SAI.
