The Port of San Diego has scheduled a March 12 public forum, to discuss proposed revisions to its real estate leasing policy.
It is slated for 10 a.m. to noon in the training room of the port district’s Administration Building, at 3165 Pacific Highway in San Diego.
A district statement said officials will discuss and take comments on proposed policies aimed at encouraging redevelopment of tideland assets, with potential impacts on port leases with its real estate and maritime business tenants. Policies were developed through collaboration between port officials and tenants.
The Board of Port Commissioners recently adopted a resolution replacing an existing Real Estate Advisory Forum with a Board Stakeholder Forum, to discuss real estate-related issues.
