Ahntech Inc., a San Diego-based small business, received a Defense Department contract for fuel that may be worth as much as $108 million over five years.

It is one of several fuel contracts awarded to small businesses by the Defense Logistics Agency at Fort Belvoir, Va. Other vendors were in Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington.

Under the deal, Ahntech will provide fuel to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and federal civilian agencies in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
