San Diego-based Tetra Tech EC Inc. is in line for as much as $100 million worth of environmental remediation work under a five-year deal.
The U.S. Navy awarded Tetra Tech an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to provide services at various U.S. Department of Defense installations. Any work on the contract will require a task order; as yet the Pentagon has not issued any task orders. Total work could not exceed $100 million.
Eighty percent of the work will be done in California. Other locations are Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington, as well as unspecified sites in the eastern portion of the United States.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, based in San Diego, issued the contract. There were five bidders.
