Pricesmart Inc., the San Diego operator of club warehouse stores in the Caribbean and Central America, reported third quarter net income of $18.5 million, up 18 percent from the like quarter of 2012.
Revenue for the quarter was $571.7 million, up 13 percent from the like quarter of 2012.
For the nine months, Pricesmart said it generated $63.4 million in net income, up from $49.9 million in net income for the like period of 2012.
Revenue for the nine months was $1.7 billion, up 12 percent from the like period of 2012.
The company operates 31 warehouse stores in 12 countries and one U.S. territory.
