SeaPort Airlines plans to offer new flights between Imperial County Airport and San Diego International Airport starting March 1.
A statement from the Portland, Oregon-based SeaPort Airlines Inc. said new service will include five nonstop roundtrips daily, Monday through Friday, between the El Centro airport and San Diego. There will be two nonstop roundtrips on Saturdays and Sundays.
Flights will operate from the commuter terminal at San Diego International, with a free shuttle bus operating every 10 to 15 minutes for connections to and from flights operating at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The company said it is recruiting customer service staff for both the Imperial County and San Diego airports.
The carrier is offering an introductory $39 one-way fare through March 31. Career, pricing and flight scheduling information are available at seaportairlines.com.
