Eureka! Gourmet Burgers & Craft Beer recently opened its seventh California restaurant at 4353 La Jolla Village Drive, in the Westfield UTC retail center.
A statement from the chain’s operator, Modern Hospitality Systems of Manhattan Beach, said the 3,600-square-foot restaurant is the company’s southernmost location. Its full-service restaurants, spearheaded by Los Angeles-based chef Ron Guidone, serve specialty burgers and salads made with fresh items, many sourced from local vendors.
The eateries also serve “prohibition style” handcrafted cocktails and craft beers, including locally produced micro-brewed brands such as Ballast Point.
The concept debuted in 2009, and the company has more openings planned in Indian Wells and Berkeley. The local eatery is among several restaurants and stores recently joining the tenant roster at the Westfield Group-owned mall, as part of a $180 million renovation.
