Kratos Reports $4.5M in National Security Work

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. said that its Electronic Products Division recently received approximately $4.5 million worth of awards related to unnamed national security programs. Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) will provide integrated microwave assemblies and other unspecified products.

The previous day, Kratos announced a multimillion-dollar award from Boeing. Kratos said its Micro Systems Inc. subsidiary will produce command telemetry system products for the QF-16 Air Superiority Target. The QF-16 is a retired F-16 fighter, converted into an unmanned target. The aircraft made its first flight in September at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
