General Atomics ASI Awarded Army Contract Potentially Worth $30.5MFriday, August 23, 2013
The U.S. Army awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a multiple-year contract that could be worth as much as $30.5 million.
The Poway business will provide a composite maintenance system trainer suite of equipment for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle aircraft. The Gray Eagle is a variant of GA-ASI’s Predator, built especially for the Army’s needs.
The contract includes an option for interim contractor support. Work will be performed at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Ala., awarded the deal.
