Nine hundred vendors — many of them small businesses — are expected to be on hand when the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce presents its semiannual Carlsbad Village Faire on Sunday, May 5 on Grand Avenue in downtown Carlsbad.
With the announcement, chamber officials noted that shopping local and supporting small businesses benefit the San Diego economy.
The event is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shuttles will operate between the fair site and the Poinsettia Coaster Station as well as the northwest corner of Sears at Westfield Plaza Camino Real.
Information is available at the chamber website at www.carlsbad.org.
