TASC Inc. said it received a U.S. Navy contract that could be worth as much as $40.5 million over five years if the government exercises all of its options.
Under the deal, TASC will provide cost-estimating services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, or Spawar. The majority of work will be performed in San Diego, while some will be performed in the national capital area.
TASC employs more than 50 people in its San Diego office.
The contract has a single base year, two option years and two award-term years.
TASC’s partners on the contract are Tecolote Research, Kalman and Co., Project Time & Cost, Cask Technology, Level 4 Ventures and Programmatics Engineering Group Inc.
