General Atomics Receives $18.3M Contract from U.S. Air ForceTuesday, April 16, 2013
The U.S. Air Force recently announced that it has awarded Poway-based General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. an $18.3 million, firm fixed price contract to cover depot activation for the Air Force’s Predator and Reaper unmanned aircraft.
The work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, Warner-Robins Air Force Base in Georgia and Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. It is expected to last through April 2015.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio awarded the contract, via a sole-source acquisition.
