Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP has announced that the California Center for Sustainable Energy has retained the firm as its outside general counsel.
The San Diego-based center is a nonprofit organization with a focus on energy conservation and alternative sources of energy. The center manages programs for entities such as the California Public Utilities Commission, California Energy Commission, California Air Resources Board and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Greg Pyke, a partner with Higgs, will lead the team working with the center, according to a statement issued by the firm. The law firm’s services may include contract review and negotiation, intellectual property issues and litigation.
