120 Seconds Are Vital In Pitch Contest

Quick Pitch time has returned.

Tech Coast Angels is again sponsoring its contest to see how compelling a pitch an entrepreneur can muster during 120 “short” seconds. The event is always a good show, and it’s open to the paying public.

This year’s Quick Pitch finals are set for 6 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall at Qualcomm Inc., 5775 Morehouse Drive. It will run until 9 p.m.

Ten entrepreneurs will have two minutes each to wow a panel of judges who have the authority to give their ventures early-stage funding.

Budding companies scheduled to pitch are: 5i Sciences with Richard Rose, CEO; Dealstruck with Ethan Senturia, co-founder and CEO; iGenomX with Keith Brown, founder; Insight Biotek Inc. with Larry Sharma, CEO; JammyPack Inc. with Jonnie Sax, founder and CEO; RockHouse Live with Zach Bair, president and founder; Stics Inc. with Karen Joiner-Congleton, founder and CEO; Uroboros Technologies with Peter Haberz, co-founder; Volunteer Forever with Steven Weddle, founder and CEO; and XTRLs International with Deanna Bebb, president.
