Frontier Airlines recently expanded local service to Colorado, launching new direct flights between San Diego and Colorado Springs.
A statement from the Denver-based carrier said the service is in addition to existing nonstop service between San Diego and Denver.
Through Nov. 15, the 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft is scheduled to depart Colorado Springs Airport at 2:32 p.m. local time, arriving at San Diego International at 3:40 p.m. local time. The plane will depart San Diego at 4:20 p.m., arriving in Colorado Springs at 7:22 p.m., with both flights offered Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Starting Nov. 16, the service will be offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The plane is slated to leave Colorado Springs at 10:07 a.m., arriving in San Diego at 11:15 a.m.; then depart San Diego at 11:55 a.m., arriving in Colorado Springs at 2:57 p.m.
