Rodd Miller, a certified financial planner based in Carlsbad, officially launched Miller Wealth Management last month as an independent investment manager.

Miller, who has about 10 years in the financial planning industry, currently manages about $10 million in client assets.

He is supported by LPL Financial, which has headquarters offices in San Diego, Boston and Charlotte, N.C.
