The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce will host an assessment of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle industry’s impact on the San Diego economy as a part of the 6th Annual Unmanned Systems Interoperability Conference on Oct. 31.
The chamber commissioned the National University System Institute for Policy Research to conduct the assessment, the findings of which will be presented at the conference.
According to the news release, 86 percent of the San Diego region’s UAV industry’s economic impact is in the Poway and Rancho Bernardo area, both served by the chamber.
Guests are invited to attend this portion of the conference, being held Oct. 31 at 9:30 a.m. at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa. Pre-registration is required prior to the day of event. Please call 858-487-1767.
