Standard & Poor’s affirmed its triple A and S1 ratings on the investment pool managed by County Treasurer and Tax Collector Dan McAllister.
The department manages the cash reserves owned by 42 school districts, five community college districts, the San Diego Regional Airport Authority, and 48 other special districts and cities in the county.
This is the 12th consecutive year the pool, which had a value of $7.2 billion earlier this year, received S&P’s highest credit rating, McAllister said.
“It is an honor to receive this credit rating in the current economy,” McAllister said.
