San Diego-based Sentek Global is one of four companies to receive U.S. Navy contracts allowing them to bid on electronics work over as many as five years.
The electronics are in the “battle space awareness” field.
If the Navy exercises all of its contract options, Sentek and the three other companies will be able to bid on work totaling $98.8 million through November 2017.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, aka Spawar, awarded the deal.
Companies in Virginia, South Carolina and Texas will also bid on the task orders. Like Sentek, they are small businesses. The Defense Department said seven businesses applied for the chance to bid on the task orders.
