Manchester Completes $27.5 Million Refinance of U-T Headquarters ComplexTuesday, November 6, 2012
Manchester Financial Group, led by developer Douglas Manchester, has secured $27.5 million to refinance the Mission Valley headquarters of the San Diego Union-Tribune, now known as U-T San Diego.
The San Diego office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP, also known as HFF, secured a five-year, fixed-rate loan with one its correspondent life insurance companies, according to a statement from HFF.
Manchester Financial Group used the proceeds to refinance the loan on the U-T’s longtime headquarters, a three-building, 329,000-square-foot mixed-use complex at 350 Camino de la Reina.
Earlier this year, Manchester Financial Group announced plans for a $200 million mixed-use project that would add elements including a 22-story residential tower and 10-story office building to the 13-acre site off Interstate 8.
