Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa plans a four-day job fair in July to hire more than 200 new workers, as the Rancho Santa Fe resort nears completion of a $30 million renovation.
Sessions are planned for July 13-14 and July 16-17, operators said in a June 26 statement. Schedules, applications and related information are on the resort’s website, www.RanchoValencia.com.
The 49-room luxury resort, located on 45 acres, earlier this year began a renovation of its suites, as well as its reception, dining, fitness and meeting spaces. It is now scheduled to reopen Sept. 7, with a ratio of four employees to every one guest, the statement said.
The resort was acquired in May 2010 by a San Diego-based investment group led by former Qualcomm Inc. executives Jeff and Hal Jacobs. The group’s general partners also include Fiji Water co-founder Doug Carlson and local developer Jeffrey Essakow.
Rancho Valencia was developed and opened in 1989 by previous owner Harry Collins, and was last renovated in 2006.
