San Diego Christian College, based in El Cajon, has acquired five office buildings in Santee for a new campus.

CoStar Group reported that the college purchased the five buildings on Riverview Parkway for a total of just over $6 million, in a deal that closed in May. The seller was Ryan Companies US Inc. of Minneapolis.

The buildings — at 200, 220, 240, 260 and 280 Riverview Parkway — total approximately 54,800 square feet. Not included was an 1,825-square-foot unit in the complex housing a dental office.

The buyer and seller were represented by brokerage firm CBRE. The buildings were constructed in 2008, according to CoStar, and most of the space was unoccupied at the time of sale.
