Kyriba, a San Diego-based provider of cloud-based software for treasury management, has entered into a joint venture in Japan with SunBridge Corp., a Tokyo-based venture capital firm, with Kyriba being the majority partner, the company announced June 18.
The new joint venture enables Kyriba to meet the demands of an increasing number of companies in Japan and Asia that are turning to cloud computing and mobile solutions to help them manage their global treasury operations, the company said.
Founded in 2000, privately held Kyriba delivers software as a service for Web-based cash, treasury and risk management services to 700 global organizations and some 25,000 users, the company said.
The business has a total of about 250 employees and offices in New York, London, Paris, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
