Trigild, which provides real estate services related to distressed properties, has moved its corporate headquarters from the Del Mar Heights area to new offices in the Golden Triangle/University Towne Center neighborhood of San Diego, the company announced June 20.
A company statement said the 35-year-old firm moved to the new 13,500-square-foot quarters, at 9339 Genesee Ave., to accommodate recent rapid growth. Trigild has also been the property manager for the building, located in the Genesee Executive Plaza, since November.
“As we continue to add staff to keep up with growing demand, we determined more space was essential,” said Judy Hoffman, Trigild’s chief operating officer. “Over the last few years, we have added more than 15,000 multifamily units and more than 25 million in commercial real estate square footage to our growing portfolio — as well as the necessary employees to handle an increasing need for our management and receivership services.”
The firm’s San Diego corporate staff of 60 oversees management, receivership and other matters related to office, multifamily, retail, hospitality, industrial, petroleum and other commercial properties across the country.
In addition to its San Diego move, the firm has recently opened regional offices in Northern California; Washington, D.C.; Phoenix; and Dallas. It will soon open another office in Denver, the statement said.
