Alaska Airlines has added three new routes from San Diego International Airport, with daily nonstop service to Monterey and Santa Rosa and twice-daily service to Fresno.
The airline announced Jan. 18 that the Monterey and Fresno flights begin June 4, with the Santa Rosa service beginning June 5. According to a statement, the carrier is offering $59 fares, not including airport fees, on the flights to Fresno and Monterey and $69 fares on the flights to Santa Rosa for tickets purchased by Jan. 25.
The new routes will be operated for Alaska by Horizon Air using 76-seat Bombardier Q400s.
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, both subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group, serve 90 cities through a network spanning Alaska, Hawaii and other continental states, as well as Canada and Mexico.
