La Costa Resort and Spa has launched new mobile technologies, including a way-finding application for guests attending large meetings and a golf-course app with animated flyovers of the Carlsbad resort’s two courses.
The resort announced Feb. 28 that it has also updated the technology offerings on its website, as part of a larger transition that included the recent completion of a $50 million renovation of the 400-acre property.
Way-finding applications developed by PSAV Presentation Services are accessible on interactive screens on kiosks throughout the resort, giving guests the option to download a mobile app to smartphones.
The kiosks and apps will give meeting attendees access to information such as property maps, group meeting schedules and itineraries, and flight information, the statement said.
The resort has also installed iPad stations throughout the property to let guests stay up to date on news and social media.
