PriceSmart Inc., the San Diego-based operator of 30 club warehouse stores mainly in the Caribbean and Latin America, said its November sales increased 13.2 percent to $183.7 million, compared with the same month last year.
For the three-month period ended Nov. 30, sales were $532.6 million, up 12 percent for the comparable period in 2011.
Over a five-week period ended Dec. 2, PriceSmart said same store sales grew by 7.8 percent compared with the same five-week period last year.
PriceSmart shares trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol PSMT.
