Defense information technology specialist Sentek Global said recently that it promoted Andrew Nugent to president. Nugent has been with Sentek for 10 years and was previously the company’s vice president of command and control systems. He was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a Navy surface warfare officer.
Sentek, which topped $18 million in revenue in 2011, also promoted Hamlin Tallent to vice president of corporate operations. Tallent is a retired rear admiral and a former instructor at the Navy Fighter Weapons School, aka Top Gun.
In addition, Sentek said it has brought in Susan Snow of OSAS as a senior financial executive consultant. She will report to CEO Eric Basu.
Sentek is a Small Business Administration-certified 8(a) small disadvantaged business, and a California certified disabled veteran business enterprise. It has 96 employees.
