Harper Gets $20.7M Army Construction Contract in OklahomaFriday, April 20, 2012
Harper Construction Co. Inc. of San Diego has been awarded a contract of more than $20.7 million to build a mission command training center at the U.S. Army’s Fort Sill in Oklahoma.
Work will be performed in Lawton, Okla., with an estimated completion date of Feb. 1, 2014, according to an April 17 statement from the U.S. Defense Department.
The firm-fixed-price contract was awarded for the sum of $20,720,265. Harper Construction’s bid was selected from among 10 received through an Internet program, the statement said.
The contracting party is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Tulsa, Okla.
