The San Diego Business Journal e-news servers experienced a technical malfunction mid-day on Thursday, April 12. As a result, throughout the day on Thursday, many of our e-news subscribers received multiple emails announcing a breaking news item. We were immediately aware of the malfunction and took corrective action to address the issue that was created by a fault in the email server software code. However, given the nature of the fault, it took several hours to diagnose the problem and implement a repair of the code. During that time, our one-time e-news alert was repeatedly emailed out to many of you.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
