Kratos Defense & Security Solutions reported April 10 that it received a contract with the U.S. Navy’s training arm that, in the end, could be worth as much as $86.4 million.
Kratos will offer training analysis and technology-based training development services to the Naval Education & Training Command, which is based in Pensacola, Fla.
The command’s learning centers will get Kratos’ help in developing web-based training, desktop simulation, so-called “serious games” (where the object is training) and social learning solutions.
Kratos will compete for task orders under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
Kratos, based in San Diego, conducts its training business out of Alexandria, Va.
