Rancho San Diego Homes Sell Quickly To Online Buyers
Taylor Woodrow Homes’ Fairbanks Highlands was named Detached Community of the Year at the Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference.
The homebuilder also was complimented by the response of homebuyers. The neighborhood is quickly approaching final closeout.
The homebuilder attributes the development’s popularity to spacious home sites averaging 1 acre, flexible floor plans and rural ambiance.
Fairbanks Highlands homes span 3,883 to 5,463 square feet, including three to six bedrooms. Both single- and two-story homes are available. The homes’ architecture were inspired by Spanish colonial, northern European, Italian, early California and traditional styling.
Among the amenities included is Category 5 wiring, which lets residents utilize multiple phone lines, modem and fax technology.
The community is located off Carmel Valley Road on Caminito Vistana.
Reynolds Communities is celebrating buyer response for its Emerald Point neighborhood in Rancho San Diego. Only a few homes remain in the development after a number of online purchases.
Sales and tours for Emerald Point began on Feb. 22 at (www.MyHomeBid.com). Reynolds was the first builder in Southern California to introduce an online sales program. Though online sales concluded last month, buyers can still log on to take a virtual tour of the Emerald Point models.
The collection of 26 homes was inspired by Santa Barbara Mediterranean architecture. Floor plans include up to 3,060 square feet of space, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Homes are priced from the high $300,000s.
The community is surrounded by the 36-hole Cottonwood Golf Course. Not far away is the new Towne Center, one of the largest shopping complexes in unincorporated San Diego County, which includes an 18-plex theater with stadium seating.
Emerald Point is off Highway 125 and Jamacha Road.
Keystone Communities’ Impressions, a luxury residential development in La Costa, recently sold out after being open for only three months.
Gary Copson, CEO of the company, attributes the development’s success to “nearby amenities such as Legoland, the Carlsbad Flower Fields and a distinguished school district.”
Other Keystone communities still on the market include Dove Glen in San Marcos and Hidden Meadows in Escondido.
Dove Glen is near CSU San Marcos, Palomar College and the suburban communities of Escondido and San Marcos. The development consists of 30 single-story homes on half-acre lots with up to 3,150 square feet of living place.
Hidden Meadows is a secluded neighborhood featuring homes with 2,673 to 3,646 square feet of living space. The community is adjacent to several expanding business parks located within a five-mile radius in North County.
Sunset Villas by Carter Reese & Associates recently opened for presale. The community will consist of only eight homes in the Old Town/Mission Hills area.
The homes will include approximately 2,200 square feet of living space on three levels. Sunset Villas can include up to three bedrooms and two baths.
Amenities for these elegant town homes include a full-sized private elevator in each home, dual master suites, two-car garage, laundry room, gated courtyard, Italian beech cabinetry, skylights and a tiled deck.
Sunset Villas are priced from the high $500,000s. They are located off Interstate 5 and Washington Street on San Diego Avenue.
The fifth phase of Cornerstone Communities’ Montecito at Lomas Verdes was recently released for sale. The single-story homes will be ready for September move-ins.
Montecito features three floor plans providing up to 3,235 square feet of space, three to six bedrooms and two to four bathrooms. Architecture was inspired by the community’s namesake Montecito, a Los Angeles-area coastal town, which connotes California Craftsman and Santa Barbara styles. Prices start in the low $300,000s.
Neighborhood amenities include open-space trails for hiking, biking and running. Breezewood Park and a new elementary school are being developed nearby.
Montecito’s first three phases are sold out and only two homes remain in the fourth phase.
Montecito eventually will consist of 128 single-family homes. The development is located off Interstate 805 and Telegraph Canyon Road.
The Rancho Bernardo condominium community of Morada recently exceeded the 70 percent sold point.
Morada’s seventh phase is already selling out quickly, offering seven distinct floor plans with prices starting in the mid-$100,000s.
Amenities include appliances such as a refrigerator, washer, dryer, air conditioning, microwave, window coverings and carpeting, which are all included in the home. Residents also have access to Morada’s multimillion-dollar recreational and health facilities, including two pools, two spas, workout room and four lighted tennis courts.
Fieldstone Communities recently released seven of the last 12 homes for sale at its Chula Vista Monterey Ridge neighborhood in the Eastlake Trails community.
These newly released homes include up to 2,872 square feet and are located near the community pool, clubhouse and Arroyo Vista Elementary School.
Homes include three to five bedrooms and two-car garages. Prices begin in the low $300,000s.
Potential buyers have the flexibility of Fieldstone’s Home Fitting program, which allows buyers to select their own site, floor plan, exterior elevation, color scheme and room options.
The final, five-site phase of Monterey Ridge will be released in late summer.
